A trip down memory lane
Sorry to say, but the cliches are true…
As for most magicians, it all started with a magic box. While visiting London, my parents decided not to bring home a souvenir but to buy me Marvin’s Magic Fifty Amazing Magic tricks box. And who would have thought that a decade later, I would become a professional magician and share miracle moments worldwide?
With a deck of cards, a Rubik’s Cube, and some coins, I practiced, practiced, and practiced. And suddenly, at 15 years old, a special e-mail came into my mailbox: Brandon, Great talking to you! We are looking forward to having you at our Thanksgiving dinner for military personnel and their families on Wednesday 23 November 2011 at the NATO base in The Netherlands. I felt like Michael Scott in the series The Office US: “Oh, my God! Okay, it’s happening!”. I still remember being a bit nervous when I had to start my performance, but I came out smiling from ear to ear. That night, my goal became clear: I want to make people around the globe smile a bit more by creating magical moments in front of their eyes.
