His comedy magic repertoire can be performed in multiple characters. During business events, it is mostly Brandon Smeets; however, outside the business events, his Dutch-German character called Josef-Emil Blokwurst makes the comedy.

The magician of wonders

With a funny accent and traditional Lederhosen, he performs his ridiculously (good) tricks worldwide… with an emphasis on trying. Together with his hilarious anecdotes about his upbringing and performances abroad, it provides a unique piece of entertainment. Initially, his tricks seem like innocent jokes, but everyone soon realizes that this wonder magician indeed creates wonder. The audience is actively engaged in his act and even invited onto the stage. During the Dutch Carnival season, he annually tours with his act from town to town with over 30 appearances in just 2,5 months. Also, Also, Also … where do you want to see Josef-Emil?
